Butterflies

As I lie down to stare at the butterfly, feelings of gratitude surround me as I find myself in its beauty. The freedom that it represents is what I aspire to possess- having the emotional liberty to express myself whenever I am most vulnerable. Knowing that I have this freedom makes me feel at peace. As I express myself through each brush stroke, the loneliness and the confusion fades away. The growth mindset dribbling in colors of gold freeze up in time forming textures.
